CCC 16 - Toxins

"Gosh," you may say. "Another PS3-bashing comic? Malethoth must be running out of new ideas!" And you may be right, although in this particular case you're not--I have big plans for drastically expanding Canine Coprothrustice Conundrum for all four of my readers, and elevating this comic to much loftier heights. It turns out that these guys aren't just nearly-nameless mouthpieces for jackassery.

In any case, this was very much a quick, easy comic. Mostly, I just wanted to draw a gas mask, since I think they're kinda neat (although overused in the scenester/emo population; it's devalued their badassery a tad). So, I drew this sketch, and tossed around a couple little one-panel one-liners to fill it in. Eventually, I settled on this, for the very simple reasons that one.) L·A·I·R is intrinsically funny, and two.) I want to do a little more background establishment in foreshadowing of the aforementioned expansion of CCC.
